A place to Grow Wild

Little Wild Ones Play was founded from a deep belief that children thrive when they are given time, space and freedom to connect with the natural world.

In a fast-paced, often overstimulating world, I wanted to create a place where little ones could slow down — to explore with messy hands, feel the seasons shift, follow their curiosity and simply be children. A place that honours play as it naturally unfolds, without pressure or expectation.

Nature offers children something truly special: grounding, resilience, creativity and a sense of belonging. Through open-ended sensory play with natural materials, children are able to explore at their own pace, build confidence and develop a meaningful relationship with the land around them.

Little Wild Ones Play is about returning to what feels instinctive and simple — fresh air, messy hands, imagination and connection. A space where children can grow wild, in the most beautiful way.

📍We are located at the Knob Reserve, Stratford. (Near the cricket oval) Old Redbank Road, Stratford, Victoria, 3862

Little Wild Ones Play acknowledges that we gather and play on Brayakaulung Country, part of the lands of the Gunaikurnai people, the Traditional Custodians of this region.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water, culture and community. We are grateful to share this place of learning, play and connection as we nurture a love of nature in the next generation.
